The Law Divided

Christ is the principle behind the law. There are two branches. The government of both are on His shoulders. As the author and fulfillment of the law He becomes the first and lat word as to law. One branch is civil law which has power to compel compliance. The other is ecclesiastical which is superior to civil in that it deals with the higher concepts or maxims the civil is based on. It does not have force to compel but makes all its offers or pleadings in mercy. Because these agencies each have the same principle they should never conflict with each other. The fact that they do is evidence of rebellion on the part of one agent. The judiciary being the final stop of performance have been entrusted with the care of the principle's concerns. Christ rules and reigns in righteousness and does not waiver on His legal aspects. He has said: Don't lend with interest, have true measures (like the original dollar), don't take bribes, be fair in equity, don't lie, don't sow discard among the brethren. The ecclesiastical law covers all this with: Love God with all your heart and love your neighbor as yourself. Now what is God to do when he has a bad agent? Most of you have prayed for action by the principle for the suffering experienced by the civil agent's breach. In the old testament God would use an ecclesiastical agent to foreclose in the civil. He (the prophet) would possess both and compel by mercy or force until a faithful civil agent replaced the rebel. He has not changed. He will do the same today if He can find a faithful, trustworthy ecclesiastical agent. That should be your prayer.

I am well aware that purim is beginning.

I do not celebrate it as i am not jewish. if i were, then perhaps i would.

but this in itself means nothing, as there are many who observe purim and all the other feast days and do not believe on Yeshua.

so, if its important to celebrate, then do so. for christians, as i have said before, there is no sabbath day.

EVERYDAY IS A SABBATH DAY.

AND EVERYDAY IS A FEAST DAY AS WE CELEBRATE YESHUA BY HOW WE LIVE, NOT ON APPOINTED DAYS AS THIS WAS DONE AWAY WITH. ITS OBVIOUS YOU DONT UNDERSTAND THIS.

TYPICAL PHARISAICAL ARGUMENT SIMILAR TO THOSE WHO CONVERTED AND TAUGHT OF YESHUA AND STILL INSISTED THAT HOLY DAYS MUST STILL BE OBSERVED.

THEY DIDNT GET IT AND NEITHER DO YOU.

WHY NOT CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS AND EASTER TOO AND ASH WEDNESDAY AND ALL SAINTS DAY AND......

SURE, EASTER, AN ASTROLOGICAL FEAST DAY WHICH IS THE FIRST SUNDAY ARTER THE FIRST FULL MOON AFTER THE VERNAL EQINOX; WHY IT CHANGES EVERYYEAR.

i guess the days of yeshuas crucifixion/resuurection change everyyear....

I see Mogel finally chimed in with -- what else -- thick-witted rationalization. To answer your question: "no" it doesn't seem a bit peculiar that no other States have filed criminal charges against Dorean or Dorean agents. Why on earth would they? Those crooks are going to the slammer for a long, long time. State convictions would only waste a buncha time and resources and for what? The right to house a couple of washed-up, elderly con's after the Fed's are done with them? No thanks. I'd rather my State spend my hard-earned tax dollars on something really meaningful like saving the dwarf Bear-poppy from extinction, or on Medicaid for illegal aliens, or a tricked out theatre room in the Governor's mansion, or...

......I used to think like you did about the Feasts of the Lord but recently the Lord has showed me (and more and more Christians) in His Word that I should recognize the Holy feasts because they are very significant. The most important scripture i found when it comes to the Feasts is this one:

Leviticus 23:14 "......it shall be a statute FOREVER throughout your generations in all your dwellings."

And that was G-d who used the word FOREVER. Earlier in that same chapter He told Moses... "these are MY Feasts" so these feasts must be pretty special if He called them "His Feasts"....wouldn't you agree?

By the way.....who ever told you that the appointed feast days were done away with? Apparently, no one notified the Apostle Paul about this. Read this:

Acts 18:21 "But bade them farewell, saying, I must by all means keep this feast that cometh in Jerusalem"

On top of that....some of the most awesome miracles in the Bible happened on Passover after the Lord was crucified (i.e. when Peter was miraculously broken out of jail by the Angel of the Lord in Acts 12:1-9)

On the other hand, Purim, as far as i know, was not commanded by G-d
but it was instituted by the Jews. But i still see the significance in it because its simply in the Word.

As far as keeping the Sabath. I agree with you the Yeshua is our sabath but you have to understand that even the earth recognizes to rest on the 7th day. Go ask a farmer why its a rule to let the land rest every 7 years so the nutrients and minerals in the ground are replenished. Scientists have also found that our bodies naturally go into a state of rest (lowered heart rate) on weekends.

Anyway, i'm not trying to be a jerk about it.....but i hope it helps.

SOP,

And another point.....I noticed that the NIV bible translation took out that part in Acts 18:21 where Paul says he was going to keep the feasts. I knew there was a reason why i didn't particularly like the NIV translation.

I know your a conspiracy guy.....why dont you tell us why the folks at NIV clearly took that out of the Bible. WHy is it that every satanic act on this planet is always marked by an effert to wipe out every thing Jewish? Hmmmmmmmm. Why doesn't the devil want us to celebrate these Holy Feasts? Hmmmmmmmmm.....his evil plans are being exposed. G-d's people are waking up.
